more then 230 years ago, some of the founding fathers concealed a treasure far too great for any one man. Then, they left secret clues, including the allseeing eye, the unfinished pyramid, and - the decleration of independance. After a while, all the clues to this treasure was missing, save for one. "The secret lies with Charlotte", was all the Gates family had to work with, and for countless generations, they did. Unfortunately, they uncovered nothing. Then one day, a young boy named Benjamin Franklin Gates, was told of the treasure by his believing grandfather. His father, though, believed that the Gates treasure was crock, and fool's gold.
The boy,(whose name is Ben Gates ) soon becomes obsessed with finding the treasure. After years and years, He finally finds the Charlotte, along with his best friend, and some of his employers. One of his workers, though, is enraged, after finding out that the treasure is not actually ON the Charlotte, but just more clues TOWARDS it.That guy, is Ian Howe. After discovering that they are looking for a map on the back of the Declaration of Independance, Ian betrays them, and takes off with all the other people, except for two - Ben Gates, and his best friend, Riley Poole. Ben and Riley tries to convince people that the Decleration of Independance is in danger, but to no avail. After realizing this, Ben and Riley realize that the only way to protect the Decleration of Independance, is to steal it before Ian can get to it. Thus begins one of the greatest adventures of all time.
